February GOT Player of the Month

With no Europa League, Carabao Cup or FA Cup involvement for Everton, February was the quietest of the season so far in terms of games played, just three, that saw two losses and one win.

A shocking defeat away at the Emirates, something of a recovery against Crystal Palace before the squad flew out to Dubai and returned to what amounted to not far short of a capitulation away to Watford was the meagre amount of games played – not the ideal background against which we ask you to vote for your respective Man of the Match.

The three games saw a total of seventeen players used with nine playing some part in all three games with six starting in all three games and only two, Jordan Pickford and Cuco Martina playing every minute of the three games.

In terms of the individual MotM winners, you voted for Tom Davies versus Arsenal, Gylfi Sigurdsson versus Palace and Jordan Pickford getting the nod for the Watford game.

Despite there only having been three games, the total number of votes cast saw a very close run thing for the February Player of the Month so with no further ado, the result as always in reverse order sees third place again go to Jordan Pickford

Second place for February, we’re pleased to announce goes to Tom Davies.

And with just under 19% of the total votes cast, and after a recount that saw him pip Tom by just one vote, the GOT Player of the Month for February and the congratulations for two consecutive awards go to…
