George Green Joins Tranmere

Everton midfielder George Green has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

Green, who joined the Toffees as a 15-year-old on a deal from Bradford worth a reported £2m, could make his Tranmere debut in Saturday’s encounter with AFC Wimbledon at Prenton Park.

He joins a Rovers side currently out of the League Two drop zone on goal difference with eight games to play.
