James McCarthy has expressed his disappointment at Everton´s failure to defeat Liverpool.
The 23-year-old won plaudits for his impressive performance in what was his first Merseyside Derby but the midfielder couldn´t hide his disappointment in his sides failure to win the game.
James McCarthy: “It was exciting for the fans, obviously, but disappointing for myself.
“I thought we deserved the three points and to concede from three set pieces isn´t good enough from each and everyone of us and we know that and the gaffer has made it clear but we go again next week against Stoke and we need to get three points on the board as soon as possible”
