Everton U18s 3-1 Arsenal U18s

Everton took revenge for their 3-0 defeat 7 weeks ago with a very encouraging performance with Kevin Sheedy back at the helm after his recent health scare.

Everton went in front on 15 minutes as Ryan Ledson made no mistake despatching a shot past Gunners keeper Charles-Cook with a 25 yard drive.

Everton doubled their lead on the half hour when Jon Joe Williams found in form striker Chris Long with a pass who found the target with the Gunners Keeper to beat and give the host´s a comfortable lead before the break.

Arsenal grabbed a lifeline ten minutes into the second half as Alex Iwobi made no mistake then with ten minutes remaining substitute George Waring came off the bench to wrap the game up and give the young Toffees a thoroughly deserved win as West Ham are the next visitors to Finch farm next Saturday.
