Have we? So everything you read is gospel? I wouldn't worry about the money as we have a very highly qualified accountant in charge of the Club so he would know what we can and cannot afford. We are in good hands.

No, everything I read is not gospel. But we clearly have been targeting Zaha and we have made several offers for him. Our spending this summer has been sensible enough so far, but dropping a fat wedge on Zaha is bad business to me.

Also, plenty of highly qualified accountants has been at the centre of high profile collapses of business across all industries. It means nothing in terms of what we can and cannot afford and what is good or bad, sustainable or unsustainable business.

Might be bad business for you but for some it is good business. If Brands, Silva and Mosh want to pay that money that has been reported then I will back them because once again they are far more qualified to judge. IMO Zaha would be a bonus for us as he is a top class player in my view.
 
The money being talked about now is frankly ridiculous, I'm just not convinced he or any other player is worth it.
It feels like we are dealing with Mickey O'Neil.

Prices are silly now for successful premiership players but that is the price you pay now. I'm not to bothered about the fees these days
