Do you think Zaha would be a hit here? I think he is a massive risk with his end product questionable, like Walcott but maybe slightly better and a bit younger.
No. I genuinely think he would be good for you. His end product and decision making have improved no end over the last 12 months.
If he had to go anywhere I would prefer Goodison over anything else.

It would help if we stopped insulting them with the bids.

I hear £100 million is the latest but always with "plus Cenk Tosun!"

Adding Tosun on should increase the fee paid, not lower it.

Moshiri and Marcel are doing a great job of selling the clubs ambitions. Was no coincidence that the transfers /bids all started after the stadium annoucement. Build it and they will come (plus throw in loads of money) :)

Fair enough, i still don't think it will happen anyway like. But if it does, I think it would be silly for Palace to not try get a player in off us to help the squad at this late stage in the window.

Well yes, but that assumes ( not unreasonably, given how cack we are at getting players in) that we haven't got other deals progressing.

But you told him he could go.

That's the difference here.

Yep.

If true, that's the key point here and it would be understandable that the player feels a bit miffed.

But equally I find it very hard to see why they would have told him he could leave. Yeah maybe it was needed to get him to sign the extension, but it's not something I really agree with. I know it's annoyed me in the past with our own players and we probably did likewise with Gueye in January. But if you sign for X number of years then I don't see why clubs should feel bound to tell players they can leave far sooner in certain circumstances.
