One of a very small number of players who can thrill a watching crowd in today's game. He's an entertainer and on that basis alone we should get him.

He’s got a kid in London, co-patentering with the Mother. Can’t see how he’ll be able to move up north.

Sounds like pretty much 99% of modern day footballers tbf. Bet Kean didn't come coz we have a nice stadium render....we are a stepping stone for most unless we start winning stuff quick smart.
 

Klopp called him world class last season.
If Brands n silva are seeing him as our top choice....must back them and trust he is the right man.

With our set up around him...we could possible have 2 of the most exciting wide men in world football next season.

Agree totally. I weigh in the fact that he probably has free reign at Palace as their primary attacker with very few other options.

I wonder how he would fit in here, but we don't have a dynamic ball carrier like he is, so I see the appeal. If he fits in well, it would really add different level of potency to the attack, but it's also fairly easy to visualize the move not working out so well.

All in all, if Brands feels like he's worth 60m or whatever, then I don't have any cause to dispute that based on his previous signings
