He's going to be a massive disappointment, we've still not got rid of Henry, throw a few millions at the FA to get his GBE and then we've got the winger we need without stupid prices and wages

Circa £20m down worst case I reckon, possibly even level on what we’ve paid out.

If brands manages anything close to all that we should be more than fine getting the right back on loan and shelling out for Zaha and a centre back.

Pretty sure he'd play better in a team of actually decent players not James Mcarthur.

The system they played last year was pretty poor. He, and to a lesser extent Townsend, was the whole attack.

Why would he be pushing for a move if he didn’t want to play for us? He’s getting payed massively at Palace and could easily stay there if that’s all he cared about. He’s seen where we want to go and wants to be a part of it.

I'm excited for this season, I just think 65million on Zaha + his wages is a massive waste of the clubs money, I thought we were supposed to have stopped pissing big money up the wall on average players and were going back to a moyesesque renaissance of buying cheap, talent and potential
