That we can flex our financial muscles to bring in a good player who happened to be a target for one of the top six.

Also he's head and shoulders above Bolasie. I get the feeling you dislike him because he isn't an obscure 19 year old playing in the Portuguese second division.

He was a target for Arsenal who are now close to signing a FAR better potentially world class player rather than overpay for Zaha.

As a 'statement of intent' i actually would consider it pretty pathetic at the numbers broadcast.

Around £60mil for Zaha....my word.

This is true, see the Moise Kean thread, there are people on that you can be certain had never heard of him or seen him play in a game that they recall him playing in, but they want him over for example Zaha.

I tend to do the opposite, i worry its another Klassen, Sandro, Niasse type player.

That the same Moise Kean whose already capped by Italy and rated as being one of the top prospects in world football...or erm Wilfried Zaha.

Its like comparing Michael Keane to De Ligt lol

It wont be 60m.

Palace want 80m, I doubt they will bend very much on this price.

TERRRRRNN WILF TERRRRRRNNN

Should also probably add that I really want this lad. If he adds 10-15 a season, and someone like Kean comes in and does the same, then we’ve got goals all across the front line. Flexible position wise too.

At his best hes a talented boy.

The danger is, does he have the hunger? He flopped at United, hes gone back to Palace and done quite well, his name certainly rings out, is Everton his last move? Wheres his motivation? Theres a danger and not just with this fella, but if we start struggling, do the heads drop or do we fight?

Anyway, you cant dispute the boy is a danger when on it.

Just getting bad Bolaise vibes from him like, I KNOW hes twice the player Bolaise is, but still.

Reckon that’s what Delph is there for, he won’t be having any half arsed efforts from anyone. He wasn’t afraid to pipe up and interrupt Pep so he sure as hell won’t mind telling Zaha not to sulk.

Will he kick our new right back into shape too?

Fortunately if Sigurdssonis in the team (which baring injury, he is first picked) , neither Gomes or Delph need to be. As Sigurdsson is pretty much the second striker, meaning they are really the only two midfielders on the pitch (if on the pitch together)...

Top 6 score 60+ goals...where do ours come from?

Interesting Torreira is on there, such a class player and its ignored he went into last season from a tournament etc...will be ace this season.

I think he would be motivated to get into top 4 and show united what they missed

Will Hughes and Ashley Barnes are also on the list. When an attacker gets fouled a ton it is more meaningful. When a defensive midfielder does it's a cool bonus but doesn't mean they are actually doing their job.

I'm not sure what the difference is between an attacker or a defender being fouled?

If you are fouled 50 yards from goal or 20 yards from goal is it the same level of problematic for the team who is defending the free kick?

What relevance does that have when the opposition are the ones fouling? You cant usually choose where you are fouled.

If you could, id say fouling a DM relieves defensive pressure.
