We can't continually moan about Mo Salad falling over in the slightest breeze, then advocate buying a worse diver. Anyway, VAR will mean that both of them should reduce the number of dubious penalties, then what is Zaha worth?

Genuinely on the fence.. especially for the money quoted. There are a ton of players available for that type of dosh.
Went onto a Palace forum to see what they had to say.. basically they feel:
1. Sell him and they will be relegated - so fee vs cost of going down
2. Best player in many years they have had and feel he deserves a shot at a top 4 club
3. Can't see why he would come to us to fight for 7th - not enough of a step up and doesn't meet his aspirations.
so some positives around his influence. In terms of aspirations if they right then we'll end up paying a kings salary to have him forsake his immediate CL dream.

I found a post where I said that was 10m too much but lets go with it if it works out.. that's burning a bit now.. clearly they rate Zaha higher than Bolasie but they did also mention his career went South after joining us so they did like him.

Has flaws, but overall is a very good player and is premier league proven. Didn't realise he wasn't 27 until November.
As long as the fee goes no higher than £55m, I'd take him.
If we get a striker, I suspect it'll be a loan deal if this actually happens (I still highly doubt it, mind).

Are we assuming these 50m players want to come to 8th place us? Is it coz they dig our history? Maybe we'll get moise. But only if a champs League team aren't willing to match our offer. Would zaha improve us? I reckon. Is he worth 70m? No- but it's not my dough so I don't care. If brands has explored the market and reckons this is our best bet so be it. It is irrelevant as he will not leave London. Hated his Manchester experience. Generally speaking he flatters to deceive for me. More production than Bolasie but not enough for the fee he will command. Not a turd but a very bad option for a team that cannot afford to get high fee deals wrong.
