At Palace, when Bolasie was good he was really good but when he was bad, he was terrible. One factor that never gets raised is that he played in Palace side that played to his strengths and playing with Zaha helped him enormously with the confidence to try things and to be able to swap wings if the opposing FB had sussed him.

Yep, I think at times he was almost second guessing himself when at Everton instead of naturally just playing on instinct. He set up Lukaku a fair few times and I remember a few more sitters that were missed from great deliveries.

I honestly hope he gets a good move though, got nothing against the fella

He's seen him play a lot at Palace. I think he feels that he would provide another couple of attacking options, but is concerned he might unbalance the side. Mildly positive but not for £80m is his overall view.
He would love the opportunity to rib his old man mercilessly of course!

I've seen Tosun a few times and agree he can finish but he's not the type of nimble goal poacher we need. An on form Benteke ( yes, it may happen) has an all round better game than Tosun.

Tbh that's what tosun is goal scorer. Get him in the box and the ball to him and he scores. Under allerdyce he scored 5 goals in 12 shots.

He's a good player but he is just completely wrong for the way we play quick counter attacking with a lone striker.

For a team like palace who play with 2 up top I honestly think he would be a very good player for you. With that extra man to compensate for his lack of pace he would definitely get goals.

60m plus tosun and McCarthy, would you not take that for zaha?

Again, just because they need a winger doesn’t mean they want bolasie. We can’t just decide they’ll want our cast offs just because they play in the same position.

There’s a reason no premier league teams appear to be interested in niasse and bolasie.

We need a centre back but we don’t want Scott dann do we?

I don’t think you got my point but I’ll play along. We need a centre back and you’ve picked 2 you’d like. You’re not allowing another club just to give you one of their cast offs just because they want rid of them. You’ve picked 2 who you think would offer something to the team and wouldn’t just be a waste of wages.
