Chris Bascome has tweeted we haven’t made a bid and we bid over the weekend palace turned it down and apparently that’s the end of the matter. Strange that you want a player, but only bid once.

Is it a bit of a worry that this bid is common knowledge, this didn’t happen last year as far as I’m aware. There was rumours on the Mina price. But I don’t remember reports of us bidding a certain amount. This is what used to happen years ago, putting bids out through the media. Is this something to worry about?

I don’t reckon it’s a worry, I think he sorta meant like they reject the offer and just haven’t put in another yet idk. That’s how I read it anyway
