I would have taken Lescott, can't see that happening now. Another attacking option off the bench would be good, not convinced Naismith offers us anything and there isn't many options when the game is as tight as the weekend

This guy is Kenny Rogers

And he wrote David Moyes own theme tune for transfer time. Give the lyrics a listen

"youve got to know when to hold em
know when to fold em..."

When did Moyes last do zero business in January? I would like so see a reasonable fee used to sign a prospect - someone like Zaha was two years ago.

The original post said if "no one leaves", so I can't see us bringing in anyone of significance if that's the case.

Even if no one leaves, there should be enough cash to do a Donovan deal and ofoe loan. Or two other simlar deals IMO. There should be money left from rodwell deal. Plus the fact of the TV money coming soon. Definately think there's a little there to play with suppose it depends if moyes can find suitable players to spend it wisely on.

Donovan definitely. Maybe also Lescott (even if just on loan) or Arshavin. The latter has faded at Arsenal but I think could still give is a bit of urgency going forward and it would be nice to see the ball played forward rather than the usual Neville sideways pass.

Was thinking of a moderately priced player who can play RB to a reasonable level. He's the first I could think of

We could do with one more right sighted player because you never know when Hibbo, Mirallas or Coleman will go down with an injury. I don't expect Bardsley to cost that much and I was trying to limit my pick so that it would be realistic...ish

But you already want Donovan who will have the same effect of improving our right side when hibbo and kev are out only he's ten times as good.

I guess I see him more as strengthening the midfield while Bardsley does a job in defence. You've got Oviedo and even Grabutt if Baines goes down on the left but we've been threadbare on the right with Hibbo and Coleman both down, sometimes at the same time. One more RB would be useful IMO
