has any one else noticed a change (for the worse in my opinion) in this forum since kipper went down? it is fast turning in to it's little brother. i've had run ins with individual members inthe past, but thisis really the first time the 'bones' of the place does not feel right.

any one else notice this?
 

Well I'm all for having more members here and we've added some really good ones in light of recent events. I think it just feels funny because we've basically doubled our activity within a week. But I think it's a good thing as we're all Evertonians.

I wouldn't worry though because I'm fairly confident that some of stuff that went on in their forum (Disclaimer: This is what I've heard through the grapevine as I've never been on the forum itself) would be dealt with by the mods here quite a bit quicker.

Danny, Dylan, Micknick, and Welton may get a bit busier here in the coming weeks but I think we'll maintain our GOT identity just fine. (y)

we are all entitled to opinions, afterall thats what forums are for, but lets not just come on to rant and **** everything off about the club, it's great we have loads of new members but not if they wish to roam the site looking for arguments and the same constant whinging.

im a kipper export but you just summed up 90% of kipper in 1 brilliant sentence .....im like the grandoldteam way im thinking of staying around , far less moaners on here ... i saying that kipper had its good posters to , but there seems to be far more on here
 
Trouble is on here so many believe they run this place when it is an open forum. The more people who use it then the more argumentative they will become failing to tow the party line but they are still entitled to put their views in any fashion they want as long as the mods agree so if you don't like it tough its not your site
 

This is not a clique forum is it? kipper had alot of idiots on it. also had a hell of alot of good posters on it. I cant handle the clique club brigade though.

Evertonian. at work. good to discuss everton matters around the job you get paid for. if you can.

Thats what these forums should be about. some take them far to seriously.

As a Kipper refugee I can see a much more light heartedness in this forum.

On Kipper you got alot of replies simply saying. You are a ****, etc without any argument whatsoever. I learnt to ignore these posts and just focus on the more in depth intelligent posts/threads and some stupid ones that were not intent on aggrevating people.

So far so good on here though so will prob stay here but go over now and again to Kipper IF it is ever up and running again.

I think a lot of people were on a wind-up on there and were looking from responses to people and there was too much of a clique, probably what caused its downfall.

Seems good on here though. More sensible.
 
I've got no problem with the kipper migration, whether it be a short term thing or not,a few whoppers will probably find their way here but that's to be expected, as on any forum.
 
Its wrong to pidgeon hole a forum, i have recently enjoyed the diversity of opinion recently regardless of wheather i agree with opions or not, they make me think about issues from different perspectives and make me more informed, to be fair some of the new forum memebers are great additions to the forum.

I dont think having different perspectives will move me form i beleive are personal opinion on what i feel is right or wrong regarding everton, but it is usefull having a myrad of info and perspectives to help be informed and assist opinion formation.
