For what it's worth - someone posted a peek at how he's evaluated by one of the top stats companies that isn't usually available to the public:

His last two seasons. That's basically largely 'very very good' in the Turkish league but I still have huge reservations about:

- That big drop-off between last season and this in xG, shots, shot OBV (roughly: shot quality), touches in box, aerial wins, xG assisted..
- Him being a flat track bully against the weaker teams in the league
- Stylistic fit, he's even less involved in build-up than Beto and Barry and even more reliant on service & crosses which does not point to a success here this season

Stats like this is more about what effect a player has on the pitch - you can think of it as 'end product' essentially. For stuff you describe which is more style of play based you're better off watching some clips or matches usually (unless you want to get deep in it with very specific data but that's a whole other conversation)
