Sounds bloody horrible that
It is, if you just flex/turn your toes upwards it's basically that thick pipe like tendon on top of the big toe and it runs right up the shin and round the side of your leg. Its called the Extensor hallucis longus and its important for balance and support of the foot. Tendons are strong and that one in particular is as it has to support a huge amount of bodyweight above it, too then tear it off the bone like that, he must have landed on it at a bizarre angle. Hopefully he comes back with no ill effects from it.

….good to hear Dyche giving Chetmiti a mention in his post-match interview. I get the impression Dyche is desperate for an effective striker who can give us goals and I agree when he said how unlucky Chermiti was after an impressive pre-season.

Be ideal if Broja/Chermiti can help provide what is clearly lacking, there’s certainly not much ahead of them given recent performances.

Seems a strange injury.

Probably a good contender at least for someone who's completely forgotten about and returns in March/April to score a couple of crucial winners in six pointers at Goodison.

The 24/25 Doucoure.

Just hope he doesn’t get swept away with the inevitable pressure he will be under by fans who think he’s the saviour. Prime Brazilian Ronaldo would look like a cart horse with how Dyche sets the team up EVERY week.

He’s also never getting a start when he’s back on the grarrrsss because he doesn’t have Premier league “experience” and that’s what counts far more than ability apparently
