Across the last 2 seasons he only has 239 more Premier League minutes than @matty1878 so he still has to be considered a development prospect and at least 3rd choice until he gets a chance and takes it. A loan would be sensible, but it weirdly feels a waste given how long we’ve waited for him to be fit.

Naturally. You're a Liverpool fan so why would you know one of our young players who doesn't feature too often?
I think it’s obvious he’s got plenty of talent, but whether that’s transferable to consistent performances is a different thing. Missing most of the season this year was a massive blow for him at this stage of his development and no guarantees he can pick up where he left off.

….if that’s the route planned be interesting if any club at that level will want him and if he gets game time. There’s very little for any club to go on with him, his best opportunity might come from abroad.
