Signings like this are always interesting. I think we desperately need someone who can have some short term impact as well. From the clips and his obvious lack of game time he’s never going to be the answer this season.

Get this lad in for the future and some time off the bench, move maupay on and get someone like Iheanacho in as well and that feels like a decent 3 who can play up top (plus danjuma if needed)

Move gray on and get another wideman option as well and it’s not looking as bad.
 

This is exactly the type of signing that we should have been making every transfer window.
Young with massive potential , and a potential resale value.
Seems to have been handled professionally , by our usual standards i.e. somewhat under the radar.
Unfortunately , still time for Kenwright to screw it up.
I would still like to see him accompanied by an experienced addition such as Ihenacho , due to the past injury record of DCL.

If we got him plus an experienced, decent ish striker like iheanacho I think it’s a good window
