No because you clearly know what I mean, yet you feel the need to pick up on something completely unrelated to the discussion, and not really further your opinion in the process.
Banter went out the window with me and you the 567th time you disagreed with me.
We have differing opinions on many things, get over it.
Just read that Feyenoord Rotterdam have put their whole squad up for sale. The cash strapped club want to get rid of the high salaries, that are bleeding the them dry. Only player that isn't for sale is van Bronckhorst. So think. I'll be making a 12 million pound combined bid for Jonathan de Guzman and Georginio Wijnaldum. Maybe also a loan + buy option for Luigi Bruins.![]()
I'd like M'Bia in, i've done abit of research and he does seem like a good player. Although Phillip Neville had a great season, i think he needs replacing there, we need someone with abit more presence and someone who has more of a better ball retention in there.
I'd take Owen on a free, i really think Moyes could make him a player with hunger again although i seriously doubt he could be back to his old self as he relied on pace too much, he can finish anything that comes his way.
Kyle Naughton looks a decent talent.
Obviously Moutinho or someone like that would go down well but i'm not sure if we have the money.
I'd defo take Jermaine Pennant and Matthew Bates on frees, both would add depth and quality to our squad.
M'Bia
Owen
Naughton
Bates
Pennant
M'Bia
Owen
Naughton
Bates
Pennant
I would be happy with 2 from that list, undecided on 1 and livid about 2.
You've got accept though that we don't have the money to bring in top class players, all 5 would be capable of playing in Everton's first eleven.
I dont have a HUGE problem with bringing in mediocre players. Well I do, but i do realise that its needed to bulk the squad up.
Personally I only want 1 player, Moutinho, hes all I want, I accept that its very, very, very unlikely we will sign him, that shiit hurts. But im trying to move on.........
Anyway, what im saying is we need to sign a few average Joes, a few cheapys. I would rather they werent players such as Owen and Pennant, I really, really hate them both.
Owen and Pennant are both players who would be able to contribute to Everton though. It's a squad game these days and if they're on a free then i see no chance in missing out on players who are capable of adding depth and quality to your squad, especially when you have lack of cash.
