Captained the 2nd XV at School, Methodist College Belfast, in the 80-81 season and was in the 1st XV cup squad (got schools half colours for it ), and threw discus for senior atheletics team.

Represented my county at swimming and tennis as a lad. Now I just do various cycling events, not at any great level though.

Started at Defensive tackle for my little league football team.. I was 11 on a team for 13 and 14 year olds. My pops was crazy proud.

Christ, I used to have to do the 100 Fly at competitions because no one else could. It was hell. I cant even imagine 200.

I stick to Freestyle sprints, 50 and 100.

That's kinda why I liked it. Doing it in a race is nothing, try doing 10x100 reps of the stuff in training. If you can drag yourself out of the pool at the end you weren't going hard enough

That is horrific.

Haha, I wish. Never managed to get below a minute so full of respect for the pros. Of course being a short arse doesn't help (that's my excuse anyway!)

i won puttin the tent up the quickest in the scouts........ i got a texan bar an a double dip as me prize.. beat that. by the way the time was 1min 45 secs an its was a 6man tent..

I've won a few National Bridge tournaments. Even a couple played Worldwide which nominally makes me a World Champion.
