Is this fresh liver? The way we cook liver in Colombia is we marinated for a few hours in lime, garlic, salt and pepper. Then we pan fried it and served with chopped cilantro and spring onions and slice of lime.

How do you make yours?
Find a calf, sharpen knife, get mad glint in eye, move towards unsuspecting calf, play shower scene music from Psycho - - - -
Or alternatively I buy it from the butchers, thinly sliced. Sometimes I breadcrumb it, helps it keep tender.

Hahaha.

I also buy ours from a local farm that has their own butcher shop. I was just asking because some americans don't buy it fresh but instead they eat liver mush :dodgy:

Not sure which recipe she used as there are dozens of recipes on Google and I just posted the first one I found.

Okay, I will search and see what recipe I like best.

Thanks for the tip. Who would have thought a banana bone could ruin a dessert lol

Shepherds pie tonight.

Had that earlier in the week. Love making them.

Prime rump steak tonight, just been to the butchers. Kin beautiful they are.

edit. Local place, they even tell you who supplies them. Get their eggs from my village.
