Your greatest 'moment' at Goodison

Joey have you been on the ale? We clinched the title on the Wednesday night v West Brom 2-0, Sheffiled Wednesday was away the following Saturday. I went to every match that season. *not read every page, somebody else may have highlighted this already.
:lol:of course it was West Brom - what a night it was - Old timers disease set in there I am afraid to say :mad:

The Ferguson goal against United that prety much gave us Champions league. Rio Ferdinand had been crying in the papers that week that he wanted £100000 a week and Duncan made him look like a non league player on that cross.

I don't think i've mentioned it but it was probably meeting a load of the lads from here!

@tommye
@TheFinnFan
@Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian
little curly alan ball ( who i spoke to yesterday btw!)
@johnnydawg68

Met a few others, made it back to the taxi drivers club after the game and i believe big jdawg stole Kevin Kilbanes BBC lanyard/pass. Also met the notoriously well connected "Sheeds" who donated a ticket to jdawg, i believe.

This was a great day, and one i'll always remember.

Met so many people off here over the years I've lost count.
JDawg, Mr and Mrs Mezzrow, Chico, Goat, Sapie, Del, Mikey Fitz, Micknick, Fox, Belg, Baines'LeftFoot, Woolly and many many more, apologies if I've not listed you xx
Each and every one of them has been a thoroughly decent human and some have become real good pals.

Everton that 💙

Some of the European nights were amazing, because you never really know what you are going to get from some of these teams and the levels they are capable of.

The Champions League Qualifier game against Villareal at Goodison, August 2005, I managed to get a seat right against the wall, top tier, two rows from the back of the main stand, it was like watching a game through a letter box, but the atmosphere was electric.
Not a great result on the night, but it still felt like we were in the tie, obviously we were later robbed of champions league by Colina and corrupt uefa, but that’s another story.

Barry Horne's goal against Wimbledon, the silence before the ball rustled in the net felt like an age then pandemonium. Also Moyes first game just felt like the start of something better, then Unsworths goal so early just set us on our way.

I remember the Horne goal, the “dink” noise of the bar and then bedlam.

First night game.
1992 derby
Mo Johnson and Beardsley to win 2-1.

Been stateside for years and just due to circumstance the only recent Everton games I've caught have been in London.
Havent been to goodison in nearly 20 years.
I love architecture and history, the place was always special.
Yesterday I took my son to the doctor, on our way out of the office there was a display about the age and style of the building we were in.
It seemed eerily familiar!

That’s not a Goodison Park reference?!

Uncanny!
