sat. 14th april 0`12. this is the one to remember. cant see us losing tbh. we are gonna show them how the games played. COYB

Not sure which year, must have been around 91 or 92, 2-1 victory in my first derby with beardsley getting the winner. Sky Sports night match, I seem to remember cheerleaders to start and fireworks at the end

Greatest in terms of magnitude was Moyes on Clattenburg. Rarely do managers get away with inferring a referee is a corrupt piece of inbred scum, but Moyes did.

KKK having to take some leave after being pegged back 4 - 4. Legend? My ass!

Rooney (17yo) getting super tough guy Gerrard by the throat after the Naysmith assault.

The Gosling replays on ITV because the nation except the northwest had the goal cut off - so it was replayed every news break for days.

We missed it here too. I remember as it struggled to right itself there was a flash of an image of Everton players all over each other then it went off again. The longest couple of seconds of my life.

Never been to a derby before but have been fascinated by them since I was a kid, even though I lived in Surrey and followed my local team. To me it has always been the derby. My earliest memory is the Sandy Young derby which was featured on MOTD and there was a big piece about it in the next months "Charles Buchan's Football Monthly." I'm pretty sure it was that which caused my sympathies to lay in the Blue half. I can still see Sandy Young's look of horror and he got slaughtered which was too much for my 7 year old sense of fairness to bear.(They were all ********s then as well.) When my youngest became an ABP (anyone but Palace) I was pleased to be able to steer him towards Everton and thanks to having a mate with Club Wembley seats, we'll be there on Saturday. COYB. (ps the first swear words my eldest son heard were mine when I saw Sharpy's howitzer on MOTD, F*****G HELL!!) Mrs none too pleased.
