After some fascinating discussion in the fume thread, thought this would make an interesting topic for a thread.

In particular this post from @chrismpw got me thinking

A firm handshake is all that's needed. A single arm raised as you run straight back to your own half is acceptable. Two arms up borders on showboating and we don't need any more of that unpleasant US culture here.

Anything else in the bin, the sweaty try-hards.

What would be your celebration of choice?

Personally I’d have preference for a simple knee slide into the corner where the opposition fans are.

I tend to just record myself watching the game from the stands along with running commentary with an exaggerated accent.

I'd personally record you recording yourself and put an AI voiceover on the video about the game I'm not even recording.

Maybe put my ugly mug floating around pointing at something off screen or something too, as that's the trend currently. Some annoying music over it as well.

Probably have to get your hulk hogan neck tattoo removed for it to have any impact. Will come across as a bit of a pisstake otherwise. Unless your aim is to wind up wokes then fair play.

I have always thought that Dwight Gayle's wide arm goal celebration was inspired by Kirsty MacColl's "New England" video.

True, but Dwight and Kirsty don't flap, just rigid wide arm alternating left / right and up / down.
