After a couple of trips down memory lane on other parts of the forum thought it might be interesting to know what your first sight of the boys in blue was.
Yes I know they do it on BK (but their site is crap)
Mine was the first derby game after the RS came out of Division 2.It was a 2-2 draw if memory serves me right Vernon got both for us Lewis for them.
I bunked in just after half time.My first full game was the boys pen V Blackpool 5-0 nil win and I was hooked.

My first ever game was the 1987/88 season, was the merseyside derby and my uncle who is a red took me in my new everton kit which i still have too this day, we were in the lower gwladys right in the middle. At 1 point in the game me uncle said wait there am goin the toilet and told sum fella too keep his eye on me, while he was gone Wayne Clarke scored what was too b the only goal of the game and the whole gwladys st shot forward i was scared at first but this fella picked me up and held me in the air. Ever since that day i cant keep away from the place.

August 1977. 3-1 defeat at home to Clough's newly promoted Forest team. Didn't matter. I was Hooked. For the record I think Jim Pearson scored our goal.

1971 Everton 8 Southampton 0, i was taken there for my 8th birthday ( weird eh ) I can remember tiny snippets of the game, Joe Royle just kept scoring and i lost count of the goals at one point !

I can't remember the specifics of the first couple of seasons as I was only 10 or younger. but my Greatest first memory was my Dad surprising me and my Grandfather with tickets for the 1984 FA cup final against Watford. That is my first faultless memory. And what a bloody memory. I was 10, and felt like a king. I also have a vague recollection of a massive spanking handed out to Southampton but can't remember(7-1 ish I think) the year, and the semi final against them in 84.

Not one of my first, but one of my best memories. 1995 Semi final against Spurs. Amokachi the superstar sub.

My first game was in 92 or 93 i think. My brother is born on the same day as me, four years after me, and supports spurs. Out teams were playin at Goodison on our bday, and my dad took us all up there for the w/e to watch the game. unfortunately tottenham won 1-0, samways i think getting the goal :(

Cant realy remember my first game, my dad took me when i was 3. It was the 82/83 season. Iv hardley missed a home match scince.

One of my oldest memorys was going to Villa away.think it was the 85/86 season. Inchy scored the only goal in a 1-0 win.

Always love villa park, so many great memorys of the place.

first couple of matches would have been away to coventry & away to leicester about '79/'80/'81(?) - but i can't remember much about either match. my first clear memory of an everton match was probably about the 8th time i'd seen them & it was "that" match away to oxford. particularly remember the crush outside, blues climbing in, & a rather poor match brightened by impudent inchy!

I'm not 100% sure on this but im pretty certain my first game was in 87 when we beat Norwich to win the title. As i was 9 and knew no better i decided to support the good team in blue cause i was a glory hunter.

And hopefully it wont be long now lol.

Been an Everton fan all my life but I live in Kent so seeing Everton has proved hard.

However, I do go to the Valley to watch Charlton play and the first time I saw Everton was there, but I was amongst the Charlton fans! It was 2004, day (the news come to light) of the tsunami I recall, and Charlton won 2-0.(n)

Nige got replaced just before half time with Wright I remember.

But highlight was having a chat with Chris Kamara right next to the tunnel and even admiting to him I was an Everton fan!

First match was when Everton toured Australia in 1986 or 1987.

First match at Goodison was v Spurs in 1997.
