pobably a if we are talkin' of mine, then a crackly transistor radio with a crappy white earpiece like a hearing aid.
then an arl mono cassette recorder
I've had a few ghetto blasters, mostly panasonic, one of which came with a turntable. Some rich yanks had a Bose one in Greece and I reckon it was louder than the clubs over there.
We did have one of those things that was a full blown sideboard, had an 'arl crackly turntable and I'm pretty certain had valves, the speakers were enormous but you hear louder from someones phone now
A second hand music centre, tape didn't play, but was able to listen in to the RUC patrols during the hungerstrikes in the late 70s early 80s while supposedly studying for A levels. Was a valve type, gives u an idea of the value of it.. one of those ones which could play multiple records.
