Just wanted to know what your favourite train journeys you have gone on?

I really enjoyed taking the aberdeen to penzance train a couple of summers back even got a few pizzas at york to keep the spirits up :)

Trains here are very boring and I can't imagine why you wouldn't drive everytime.
 
Three spring to mind.
Cascais / Estoril to Lisbon.
Through Germany along the Rhine.
From Barcelona to Valencia

The one to Torquay is a good shout too.
 
Huyton to town because it means I'm going out.

Or town to Huyton because I know all the shopping sh*te's over with.
 

Ignore the fact that Portillo was a bad Tory tit....... his programme on BBC2 following the train routes of Bradshaw ?? forget his first name..... was fantastic.... the length and breadth of the Country by train..... also he has now started the European one.... love this programme to be honest.
