Martinez by a mile. We were joyous…and not afraid to take risks.

Of course, that’s because he had Moyes’s defence, but he proved Moyes was too conservative within 9 months.

Barkley, Deulofeu, Lukaku, Baines, Coleman, Jagielka…McGeady.

The end.

Moyes’ xG in his final season was better than Martinez’ first season. Imagine if Moyes had had Rom

Can’t believe nobody’s mentioned 07/08. It seems to be ignored because of the pen defeat to Fiorentina but we were brushing teams aside that year. SK Brann and Sunderland got absolutely wholloped at Goodison, Yakubu was on an other level, Pienaar and Baines forging that relationship. Gravesen coming back and being a mad man. Honestly, some of the best footy under Moyes was that season. Osman v Larissa a key indicator of that.

1995/96 or 2007/08

95/96 was my first full season I can remember but wasn’t going many matches as a kid one but the excitement after the cup win was boss although only did one or two a season back then, but 07/08 I didn’t miss many back then and always think that uefa cup should of been ours

07/08 would be my choice too. Played some fantastic stuff and had some great European trips. I've said before, I think that team was so unlucky it played in an era when the PL top 4 of United, Chelsea, Arsenal and the RS were really strong, top teams.
