I am writing my bucket list. One of them is to go to a game at Goodison Park.

I've never been to the UK. Don't know it from a bar of soap. The only British person I dearly love, a long-time friend, lives in the country.

If I were to go to Goodison Park -

1. Where should I stay? Accommodation should be clean and reasonably priced. Not a millionaire by any chance.

2. What restaurant should I go to, at least once, for the experience? No, four Michelin hats for me. I don't want to spend a week's wage for a T-bone steak.

3. Where is the best seat in the stadium?

4. What places should I avoid?

5. Will they let tourists roam around at Everton HQ?

6. What's the best way to travel around London and will it be reasonably cheap. I can't drive. Never had a license so hiring a car is out of the question.

Thank you.

1. Plenty of decent hotels in the city centre/docks area. Reasonably priced too. Try Novotel, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn, Jurys Inn, Crowne Plaza, Radisson, Liner...there is plenty.

2. Depends what type of food you want? Il Forno, Piccolinos, Sapporo, Savina, La Tasca - I'd all recommend. Or just go into Liverpool One and theres any type you want - Red Hot Buffet, Wagamamas, Nandos, Las Iguanas. There is some nice places down Penny Lane too (if you were to venture out that way).

3. Again, depends what you want. Side view?or behind goal? Atmosphere or view? Upper Bullens/Top Balcony for views. Lower Gwladys for atmopshere. Park End/Upper Gwladys are both good alternatives and offer more of a mix of the two.

4. Do you mean tourist things or do you mean as in areas of the city?

5. No, but if you book the Goodison tour, you will see all the "important" parts of Goodison. See Here

6. Tube. Takes you pretty much anywhere in London...See here

Thxs. I defo (wow, learnt a new word) will try the English sausage, will book tour beforehand. Will watch out for derby schedule.

Do players meet and greet fans booked on tour??? :)

Will I get lucky and get a hug from Cahill, Arteta, Coleman (Pienaar, if he's still there)??? That would be nice, eh?

No, you just get shown around parts of the ground, like changing rooms, players lounge, directors box, etc. If you want to meet the players, get to the ground a few hours early and catch them going in down at the Park End, or go around there after and catch them going out. They'll stop for pictures/autographs, most of the time anyway. Failing that, you could go down to Finch Farm and wait to meet them by the gate. If there is people waiting there most of them usually stop unless they got somewhere else to be. Just ensure they are training the day you o otherwise you'll only perhaps get a few injured players or people who are doing some extra training.

1. Have a Couple of Magners in the Barlows.
2. Walk up and have Fish and Chips.
3. Have a Pie at Half Time.
4. Shout yourself stupid.
5 Final Whistle
6. Go into Town and get Rat Arsed.

Thxs. I can't wait. I will wear the yellow Socceroos T-shirt with Cahill's name on it. I hope he spots me and trade me his Everton T-Shirt. Bright idea! :)
