Arteta - Everton's best player since the 80's!
Yakubu - most natural finisher and incredibly likeable... misused by Moyes in the end.
Barkley - under appreciated and massively missed.
Manny Fernandes - we were one of the most aesthetically pleasing teams when he was with us. What a partnership he and Arteta made!
Lukaku - hard to include a player who doesn't love the club but he was easily our best player during his time with us either way.

Special mention for Saha. What a player he could have been but riddled by injury. Have never seen a a better player in our shirt when surrounded by 4 opposition and able to get out with the ball.

1. Dunc
2. Hibbert
3. Cahill
4. Coleman
5. Gravesen.

In that order.

Shoutouts to Niasse, Wessels, Fellaini, Strac and Tie. Have a soft spot for all of them.

Criteria is PL games for us.

Southall - obviously
Lukaku - could not exclude due to his talent and 4 year stay
Pienaar - along with Baines and Jags, deserved a trophy with us in 2009, that was a good team 07 to 09
Kanchelskis - probably the only one in recent times who could've walked in to the 85 side
Ferguson - wasted his talent in some ways but was a figurehead in hard times

Arteta - Everton's best player since the 80's!
While I fully agree that Arteta was a fantastic player, what about Kanchelskis?

A tricky question to be fair but for me I've gone with:
- Kanchelskis,
- Kevin Campbell,
- Southall,
- Cahill,
- Watson.

Ferguson, Arteta, Carsley, Coleman, Baines and Pienaar are all close calls.
