Say NO to Ginger Managers
Hallam Hope and Matthew Pennington have gone on loan to League 2 side Northampton and Tranmere in League One. Month long loans. Lundstram is gone to Yeovil for the rest of the season.
Good to see some progression from the boys coming up, great to see Hope going out on lone. Hopefully will mean hes starting to progress into the player we heard he might become :)

Lets hope Bobby is as good at picking the clubs he sends the young lads to help them develop as he is at judging which ones we should loan mate ;), Glad to see Lundstram getting the full season at Yoevil tbh, hopefully will set him in good stead to factor for us next year

I think it's a really progressive step by Martinez. For some reason Moyes tended only to use the loan system to help find players another club when they were about to leave us or possibly to test whether they were ready. He didn't seem to see it as a part of their development.

From what I have seen we now seldom use senior players in the U21 and our best young prospects are sent out to gain valuable experience in the lower leagues. That in itself opens up opportunities for teenagers like Ledson and Green to step up a level.

It would be fantastic if perhaps Duffy and Lundstram could make the step up next year and we could develop more of a steady production line of talent.
