013 season first place 15.1 mil, 20th place 755k. So finish 6th get europa and 15 mil, and lose it the season after, due to the inevitable euro slide down the league table places, and the financial loss each lower place brings and the inevitable relegation battle, combined with trying to keep your best players, and attract others to replace the ones that want a champions league club and leave, makes it a gamble for any mid-table club with limited resources.

Believe me, its about staying in the premier league, thats it
The £15m was the difference in TV revenue between finishing 6th and 17th.

It'd not even included any revenue benefit from the EL

An Evertonian who thinks winning the 6th place trophy is success. No wonder the RAWK divvies take the piss about us not winning stuff.
Nice try but yet another fail I'm afraid, as all I was doing was ripping your ridiculous assertion that finishing 6th had no advantage over merely surviving. I'm not sure you're well tbh.

Still waiting mate. Big kiss and a cuddle mate.

you are a buffoon, charlatan, etc, etc

Jesus, change the record mate... I don't agree with much of davek's views on Everton at the moment but have a bit of dignity if you're going to debate with him, you're coming across like a right div.

Lets have him cough up an explanation or an apology and we can go from there. Otherwise it is an invite for him to continue to spout his mindless drivel with utter contempt for those who's forum he is spoiling with his putrid rabbitings.

Did you not do fractions in school or what mate?

You do know what 2/3 is. Or 66%

Pie chart looks about right to me. Lets face it. The poll says the plotters are backed by roughly 1/3. But minus the multis its more like 20%.

@davek

Clearly you didn't.

Get back in your cot child and play with your abacus, that way you might learn to count.

Just to add to the graphics that have already been released in the wake of the poll, here's a chart that tracks the way in which the Yes view develops over a 48 hour period

graphwrite.aspx

From this we can see clearly that the initial 12 hour fume gives way to an extended period of rational reflection when, perhaps, the cooler heads of the forum - having mulled over their decision - come to a more judicious conclusion, and where (again perhaps) others who had voted Yes earlier on change their decision to a No vote.

Much better effort than your first one.

Grow up mate, this is a forum, no apologies necessary for having an opinion.

An opinion is fine, accusations about coaching and playing staff being involved in a plot to remove the manager is quite something else.
Accusing players of purposefully not playing to the best they can is to knock their professionalism and insult their character.
Attempting to group forum members as being part of the 'plot' group is a disgrace to the forum and it's owners.

It takes a big man to stand up and admit he was wrong. A certain someone continues to run and hide. Credibility.

Edit: And accusations of racism against those that do not agree with him (amongst 'hysteria' and other such slights) are further indications of the individuals character.
