I would not sack him yet but I wouldnt be to upset if he was,Our best chance of victory over the next few games is Leicester at home and that is bang in the middle of two european games if we dont win that one ( or win in between) he will have to go as Everton must come first we would have about 12 games left to ensure we stay up.
It would have to be a short term fix maybe big Joe to install a bit of fight around the place then sort it out properly in the summer.

Why does your middle finger look like a toe?

Our problems clearly run deeper than just a bad run of form, or a system that doesn't work.

The penalty debacle with Mirallas tonight shone a bright light on divisions within the dressing room, on Mirallas' massive ego, on the complete lack of leadership from captain Jags or a show of balls from Baines.

And they wonder why there's "rumours", which Jags 'chuckles about'.

You have the strange saga of Eto'o, who has gone from being gushed about as a genius signing by Martinez to someone who can't wait to get away, all within the space of 3 months.

You have key medical personnel quitting mid-season amidst rumours of arguments with Martinez.

You have Gareth Barry, who apparently has it in his contract that he cannot - under any circumstances - be subbed.

And all of this taking place whilst we fail to pick up points and slide down the table. 3 wins from 11 home league games this season is appalling.

It's a very worrying time, and it's all very well defending Martinez and saying 'he's earned a bad season' (!!!) but that doesn't mean we should be happy being served up [Poor language removed] between now and May and just write off the season, in the blind hope we don't get relegated. This is how Newcastle got relegated in 2009.

If we lose the next 2 games, then he's finished. Irrespective of the Europa. He may even be finished already.

In January 1977, Billy Bingham was sacked after a run of 8 games without a win, despite Everton being 13th in the league, still in the FA Cup, and in the League Cup semi finals. The Europa means jackshit in the scheme of things.

If he gets turned over by Pards, and then again by Brenny's fine young men, I really don't see how he keeps his job.

Can't go into a dog fight with a Spanish Tony Mowbray at the helm.

From his interview, Martinez is spent imo. Nice chap, a few good ideas/notions, but I don't think he knows how to implement them, nor has he chosen the staff to aid him wisely.

Just been told that Peter Reid has said that he would accept the Everton job if he was offered it.
Serious question. He was a legend at the club.

Certainly as valid a choice as Joe Royale. He managed Sunderland for 7 years, he must have been doing something right.
