Reluctantly I have to say "YES" this week.

The change in tactics served us well in the City game and the Hammers cup ties but all those teams around in the bottom half know now they only have to park the bus and we are a toothless tiger.

Hence it was back to crab ball tonight and it hurt my eyes.

I don't think we can afford to wait until after what will probably be another winless game at Palace.

I would have Joe as caretaker to try and keep us up and look for a more permanent chap in the summer.

Naw to sacking him - no value in it at the present time. Need to show some faith as there's still a chance, long term, that he turns out great. Feels like a pretty small chance right now, admittedly, but even that outweighs the prospect of raising the white flag and getting in some firefighter with no real future of shaping Everton football club.

Not too much time left before the scales start to tip the other way, but we're not there yet IMO.

Saying he'll turn it around because we were great last season, or because he kept Wigan up is no defence IMO. Can he turn it around? I wouldn't put too much faith in these players- they haven't ever experienced a relegation dogfight bar the ex-Wiganers. Him keeping Wigan up- We're Everton, even he was to keep us up how is that acceptable? The team inherited and built on from last year should be 20 points up on what we've got now. Moyes having a bad second season- maybe that's because he had quality such as Jeffers, Linderoth, Alexandersson, Li Tie, Ratzinski to rely on... We're in serious trouble right now.
