He was travelling forward and the ball was behind him. Unless he was capable to hoofing it (which he wasn't) I think any touch or knock would've just gone towards Salah anyway. He was stood in acres of space in the box

I thought him and Keane were excellent again yesterday apart from that one absolute brainfart moment of utterly crap defending.

Hasn't been overly consistent but the lad has a place and will be fighting for a place alongside Keane. On his day he is really good. The shouts to get rid of him at this stage are preposterous. I still think the lad can make it at Everton.

Was a really poor mistake in the derby, but aside from that he played quite well and has played well all season.

He always looks like he has a mistake in him but has improved massively along with Kegger.

I hope he stays around and keeps James company for a while yet, i like Yerry and he's embraced the culture of the club, seems a positive influence around the place and is solid ., plus with James knocking balls in I expect our CBs to get 5-10 goals this season.
