Played very well yesterday, but I did see a couple of times he got caught on the wrong side of the forward. Given it is still only the first game of the season and he didn’t play much last season, I can forgive a couple of lapses of concentration.

I think he will be immense for us this season.

He’s not 25 until next month so has time to improve too. He’s good already but I think he has the potential to become one of the best central defenders in the league.

Looked the player composed on the ball and transitioned nicely a couple of times in the first half. High hopes for him.
