The thing that needs to change is the introduction of some sort of salary cap/ squad numbers / transfers. Whilst there are 4 or 5 teams who turnover 3 times what we do it's going to be very very difficult.

People point to Spurs but they haven't ever really come that close have they? Certainly haven't won anything.

clubs sign injured players all the time, Gomes is on loan anyway so it's not like we paid mega dollar for him
