It does seem strange. The deal was announced last Thursday and he still hasn’t trained with the squad. Wonder what the delay could be? I wasn’t expecting him to be involved on Saturday, but I’m still surprised he’s not here by all accounts.

Bernard will definitely be on the bench minimum on Saturday.

It'd be nice but he hasn't played at all since March.

Won't have even been training (other than keeping fitness up with a PT probably).

I will be pleasantly surprised if he's involved.

Can't imagine that wouldn't have been worked out when the transfer occurred.

I mean, he was training with Barcelona a week ago, it's not like he's still on holiday. Unless Everton told him to take a week off but, honestly, I've never heard of a player not reporting to their new club almost a week after being transferred.

Already angling for a move. Knew this would happen.

I had hoped he might play on Saturday, much prefer him and Keane to Zouma and Keane. I'd probably prefer him and Zuoma as a first choice. While Zouma is prone to errors it always appears to me he moves a bit quicker than he thinks. He hasn't really worked out what he is going to do when he arrives at a situation by the time he gets there. The more time he gets the better he will get.
