2018/19 Yerry Mina

Wasn't he the same bloke who said Funes Mori wouldn't make it at here? I suppose he was sort of right. If he's right about Mina then to be perfectly honest I'll be chuffed.

Not sure to be fair mate, just caught a bit of it.

Tim Vickery is a plonker who from what I've heard has never had a very high opinion of Everton.

We need a squad of young ambitious players who each put in performances that match those ambitions.

Maybe a bit of jealousy creeping in from this Vickery guy then? Seemed a bit bitter.

He knows his stuff to be fair to him, I wasn't overly impressed with him at the world cup to say that he'd walk into any of the teams above us, but he did score in every game and was unbeatable in the air. If he helps us to an FA Cup then fair play one season would do me fine.

Seen mixed reviews about how knowledgeable he is, but he wasn't far wrong with Mori.

In the space of 6 months Walcott and Coleman have become our weakest area on the pitch. How is that not showing ambition?

These pundit biffs do my head in. It might take an entire season for this side to gel, but we are certainly not some plucky, unambitious also-rans. Will take a while for the blinkered media to realise this too.

Seemed a bit of a rant from him more than an informed opinion, not sure if we've wound him up before or what but I guess we'll see in the coming months if he's right.

Just watched the interview, and to be fair he comes across as a good lad.

But, and this might be insane, what stuck with me (from my pov., working with translators often in the medical field) is that the translator did an incredible, INCREDIBLE job.

My girlfriend is portuguese and she said, it's very rare for someone to be able to transfer the homour and small things that carry a conversation between local people, and translate it like he did.

Probably not something that interests most on a football forum but I do find that quite interesting

The fella who does the South American football was on Talksport earlier, Tim Vickery I think his name is? Anyway he said that he was surprised Mina came here and said it'll be a one season thing as Everton can't match his ambitions and he deserved a top tier English club. Sounded quite angry about it.
I did wonder which of our players the media would pretty much sell to United in January, im going all in right now, its going to be Mina and we will get accused of holding him back against his wishes and ruining the window by doing so

I noticed that, usually they seem to just summarise stuff, he is pretty efficient

frankly i'd be worried about a player who came to Everton and didn't say something along those lines.

"I'm glad to be here. It's cool, hoping we can compete for 7th place. It's all good, dude. Whatever."

Yeah, can't imagine something like the above would go over well.
