i'm 29 and have never seen us win anything, we've always been bloody crap. Our reserve team losing a couple of pre-seasons doesn't concern me tbh. It's all about the long term goals, whatever we do this summer won't immediately propel us to a great team, but it will help set us up for the next five or so years you'd hope, that's why i'd much rather we try our hardest to get our number one targets before getting a poorer alternative.
A couple of early away defeats to the mighty Wolves and Bournemouth may just sharpen a few thoughts, especially with the window shut.

This is what a Barcelona fan said to me 2 days ago,in some group i am in on F/B ",Good steady full back. Never let's himself down. Unfortunately for him, Jordi Alba had his best ever season for us last year."

The same fan says this about Mina " The PL will suit him. Big strong player, good in the air. Defensively suspect and not the greatest at bringing the ball out."

He was In the team of the season playing for whichever club it was before he went to barca + theres a lot of write ups saying his main strength is bringing the ball out and passing...then next is his aerial ability...im interested to see his passing and his pace mind you.

Please don’t go for Vida I hate his haircut, something a RS player would have on his head let them have him.

Who was that RS forward from Ukraine they had a few years ago? he looks like a bigger version.

Voronin, best in the world until he actually played a game for them.

I would not have a clue on Mina or Dinge as never took any notice of them, only what this Barcelona fan has said, off course he see's them week in week out,

I'd be hapy if we brought Mina in, but if we do I hope we'll also bring in someone to partner him. Can't see it working with either Keane, Jags or Williams next to him. Holgate I'm still unsure about. If we want to contnue with them, I'd rather see us going for a more mobile, faster guy.

Yeah, he looks like he can pass a bit. He just looks a bit clumsy, but he's huge, so a bit of that is offset with anticipation and aggressiveness, which this kid has in spades. Look, he's a risk, but there's a lot of talent there.
