Quite simple, he’s like a slightly more refined Yannick Bolasie. He runs down blind alleys, he tries to the most stupidest of things when the simple ball is the easiest option, his control and awareness are bang average
He’s a show pony basically. He’ll have games when he looks like a world beater, they’ll be a few and far between and every other game he’ll just be an expensive cog in a broken machine.
Like Iceland, the stats deceive. They show something that’s not there. I can’t remember a game were I’ve been really impressed with him; yes he has his moments of trickery but as footballer, he’s so technically inept it’s scary
He’s never be a starter for any of the top 6 because he’s simply not good enough. He’s 25 and still plays like a 17 year old on the park
We have one useless tit from palace, I don’t want a second. We need people with technique, who can make openings with intelligent movement and precise passing not someone whose going to lose the ball the majority of the time
