He ruptured his ACL and the fans were going ballistic at him to chase the ball, so he got up, and put himself out for a further 6 months.

If that culmination of events isn't the most Everton thing ever... what is?

Eh? I seem to remember the physios assessing him and then letting him go back on the pitch to play. The fans didn't make or allow him to get up and play.

He probably did carry on, but he went down in the corner by the bullens/Gwladys and the fans

I think he went down, got treatment, came on, and went down again, that’s why they were going mad, that’s why he tried to get up and carry on.

I think at this point, fans were already turning on him.
