This is the chance for him to make an impression on Ancelotti and/ or put himself in the shop window. Unless he is in the process of moving on and no one wants to risk it with a daft injury...
He wouldn’t have been registered to play back in Jan and they don’t want him back due to limited numbers due to Covid restrictions.
He’s stuck inbetween really. He’s been boss training in his garden against his kids though.

Can’t say I’m up to date with the rules but seems a farce that he can’t be involved. Don’t have massive hopes for him being our right wing solution but he would be an extra body during a time with a lot of games.

I would expect that whenever pre season starts again the manager will bring him back training , get him playing, and then decide what he wants to do.

The lad needs to give his head a wobble if he thinks he’s going to be in Ancelotti’s plans. It’s unfortunate with the virus, he hasn’t been able to train, let’s hope the sports science team have kept him in good shape and some club will take him off our hands for next season.

Him and Lukaku had some good chemistry going on and his pace gave a lot of teams problems
