Your original statement goes back to stating that the Eredivise is a good league to go find talent from and there are far more hits then misses. I'd say scoring 10-15 goals in that league probably isn't something you should be judging a player on based on recent players leaving that league who have done so.

FWIW Raino has a point as does pfim. If you are buying from Eredivisie (or really any league) you have to scout the player not the statistics. To do well in the PL there is a certain minimum athletic profile you need to have that is above most other Euro leagues. You also need to have the right mentality and be able to perform if fouled or a bit off physically so there is a mental attitude aspect as well. If a player passes both those tests and are already productive then they tend to do well here. If they don’t they tend to disappoint.
