If this happens, I'm gutted.

I'm gutted that the Yak has to leave in the first place, absolutely love the guy. Seems he has a track record of this as well though, think Pompey and Middlesborough.

Like Goat says, we aint gonna find a second rate replacement for that money.

For a team that desperately needs goals, dumping a striker seems like such a wise call. I hear Ronaldo is on the cheap back in Brazil. Debatable whether his meal bill would be cheaper than the Yak. What could Moyes buy even if he had this alleged 7.5 million for Yak and whatever he could cobble from Heitinga and Pienaar? A pile of crap.

Great news, come on guys, we need to flush out the crap otherwise we'll end up like Liverpool.

11 goals in 50 odd appearances since 2008, not what we need, we need someone up for it.

Do the same with Saha, Pienaar and Heitinga and i'll be happy, we need to make a statement that if you don't wanna play for the club, you can jog on.

Would have been happy with £7.5m like, not so with 5.

This must be personal. He showed against Liverpool what he's still capable of, even though he didn't score.

I wouldn't be surprised.....for me, he's our best striker by a long way potentially looking forward. Saha possibly was on his day you could argue, but Yak is still 21 or something probably, who knows. But, for whatever reason he's not been scoring, although yes, he has been out for a long time, maybe he won't be able to cut it anymore, so for a club which is in dire need of money, and has this player constantly sat on the bench......added to the fact, he probably wants a game or 2, I guess it makes sense. A replacement however just doesn't appear to be too obvious. Sadly, we've probably already got it in - Saha, Anichebe, Beckford and Vaughan
