Yakubu will sign for Leicester City after passing a medical tomorrow. He joins on season long loan but there's scope for a permanent move.

They Leicester... made a £6million loss last year. And their debt was marginally reduced by their Chairman putting £10million into the club. i.e. paying off £4million debt.

Their turnover is only £15million.

So where is this money to come from?

PS. Their new owner's combined wealth is only £200million. The most they personally could put in would be £15million.

So to assume they've got cash now would be mistaken

They're gambling on Premier League money to finance a move in the summer it looks like. They're 6 points behind the promotion points currently....

The most absolute ridiclous decison i have wiottnessed as an Everton fan if true? Can anyone make some sense of this for me plaese? Am i missing something?

Maybe Moyes wants to see him get games - and the view for a permanent move is the best offer we've received for a player who's wanted away...

I'm undecided about yakubu, I'm tempted to say get rid and invest in another striker but I still think he could get his form back given a run of games in a 442 but does he want to go and can we afford to wait for the goals to come.

Is that the deal mate for a permenent deal for Yobo this summer?

I get the loan and wages thing, but its robbing peter to pay paul, who are we realisticly going to get on loan who can score 20 goals a season as the Yak has. Getting a poor fee to free up wages for a loan doesnt make sense to me.

So, I believe.

Moyse can be a bit fickle, especially with strikers. He decided that he no longer fancied Beattie and Johnson in the past. I think that the Yak no longer figures in his plans and there were no takers for a permanent deal at the price we were looking for.

Not having it mate, letting Yobo out on loan was a mistake and it weakened us, letting Yak go when we're mundo light on forwards and form is ridiculous.

The only thing i can think of is our financial situation is massively periless and we need to get rid of his wages.

I feel like lashing out. Doesn't make sense to me. But starting to now I think about it more.

Im sure Moyes will bring in Messi on loan so we won't notice the Yak leaving.

He better have something ace up his sleave after this, ill be massively fuming if we get Jason Robets on loan! To be honest i think the club are after having a massively poor year financialy if this deal comes to pass.

I hope he does well. And he will. Fair play to Yak.

Moyes preferred a striker who hadn't scored for 11 months.
Moyes preferred an unproven League One striker.
Moyes preferred two midfielders to play up front.

He was never going to get a game here again.

How many has Yak scored again?

He wanted out in the summer.

Saha. Beckford. Anichebe. Vaughn's still here... you don't know what LCAB et al will pop up with too....

Then in the next 12 months you might have Hallum Hope on the bench etc.....

... I think it's coz Yak wants away personally.

True. It seems like the cameo's that he's given him recently were his last chance.
