i actually feel sorry for anichebe.

this tourney would have increased his profile , his value and the experience would have paid huge dividends to his progress.

the poor lad also got a lot of hassle and flack choosing nigeria over england.
he wore his heart on his sleeve and now vogts has shat on him from a great height.

screw you vogts you dirty sausage muncher.

imo we have more than enough cover for both players to have gone.
the chance to play would also help the moral of players who dont get as much game time as they may like, mcfadden vaughan and aj.

im not sure if our cover in defence for yobo is as good as our striker cover though.

Its a real shame that hes in amazing form for us and we are going to lose him :( just hope the others want to prove themselves now they will get in the team and perform just as good.

Sky says we may get Yobo and Yakubu back for the matches during the training camp:

Well, we don't know how it would work yet, but at least they would be available for some games for AFC starts!

it doesn't change for the fact they would be missing for around 3.5 weeks, but we have enough striker, let's hope Baines and Stubbs would recover in time when Yobo goes off to AFC, while we hope Moyes could get the much needed creative Midfielder in during January!

By the sound of things I think Yak and Yobo has to report to the national team on the 6th Jan, so they could play in the FA Cup match on the 5th!

I wonder if Moyes could talk to there coach to allow them to stay for the Carling Cup Semi-final 1st leg on the 7th Jan, before they report to the camp?

To be honest im more afraid of looseing Pienar and and Yobo then the Yak, i think Vaghan and Johnson will be biting at the bit to get into the team!

Id pick up another centre half in Jan!
