Yakubu and Cahill.

The main reason we're relying so much on Cahill is the simple fact that he is the only player in our squad that can play in that role. We need a substitute for Cahill, a player that can play in his role as good as he can. Until we do, we are going to struggle when he's out.

we dont have a player like cahill in terms of aerial threat, but the support striker/advanced attacking midfielder is steven pienaar territory.

so in theory, its a left sided midfielder we still require.

Saha's pretty useful in the air to be honest, in terms of flick ons Vaughan's probably better than Cahill. He's got an excellent leap.

It would be interesting to see Pienaar in a advanced attacking midfield position, I think he'd be useful there.

Agreed mate, i have seen him play that role for other clubs untill he came to us. He is essentialy an attacking creative midfeilder pushed wide.
