Nah...there [Poor language removed]...It should be £10 million plus Bale, then sell Lescott to Sunderland for £12 million - they would pay over the odds...

So we selling Lescott as well now, WTF?

Oh and why is 12m over the odds? Based on last seasons form, the form we know he can show, 12m is vastly under the odds.

Every1 has appeared to lost the plot, we dont need to sell ANYBODY, we need to buy some players.

Didn't this summer tell us that we couldn't even lure Gary Glitter to a child home never mind a world class striker/player to the club?

Wouldnt even consider selling the yak.

Joking...but Bale would be class...

Bottom line is, even though Yakubu is (arguably) the best striker outside the top 4, if anyone came in with an offer of £15 million, Moyes would sell (providing he had someone lined up).

No he wouldn't.

We got 11 million for AJ, we'd get more than 15 million for Yakubu.

Spurs got 20 million for Robbie Keane.

If its tottenham interested id let him go, Its tottenham so we could get more than hes worth. Then we could go buy a striker who has a high work rate, im nto sure who exactly that is, as i doubt we would go after players like Bent, Owen etc...Maybe someone like Mario Gomez...
I would sell, if they offered more than £15 million which they should.

So what your saying is that we should sell our best striker, and replace him with the biggest flop of Euro 2008, who scored no goals and missed an open goal from 3 yards out. If you think Yakubus work rate is bad, then this 'donkey' certianly is not the answer!

This just absurd. Theres been a post on getting rid of Arteta and now the Yak? Then theres the people who think we should be pushing for 4th. Well we wont get near the top half of the table if we get rid of these sort of playerrs.

i wouldnt really bat an eyelid if we sold yak.

even if he is our best striker i think he is the worst footballer in the team.

i think he is unproductive and his lazy style doesnt suit everton at all at the moment.i would honestly rather see vic or vaughan play instead.

zaki or ashton seem more like the striker we need.power skill and an eye for goal - yak lacks the skill side imo

as a matter of fact , watching us against fulham , i did think "i would rather swap yak for aj"

One competition, look at his record with Stuttgart - its good, hes a vital player for them, he just didnt fit in with the formation. And every striker misses sitters once in a while.

Agree with Dom on this. I think, Gomes is a very good striker. Would love to see him in an Everton shirt. Also has a more than decent workrate. Can understand you're sceptical of him, as you've probably only seen him at Euro 2008 and I have to agree, he was a big letdown there.

Was the Fulham game so appallingly bad that we have to resort to posting silly rumours to chat about!!

I get the feeling there are a few who would like to see the back of Yak after a few off games. Glad you lot aren't in charge of team selection and transfers!!!!
