Sharpys top lip

Player Valuation: £60m
Don't know wether any one has noticed. Since moyes has gone 4-4-2 an Saha has been playing. yakubu has looked [Poor language removed]. Since the Hull game. Don't know if it's just a coincedence as the whole team are playing [Poor language removed].

He seems to have gone back to his lazy ways. Saha does all the running an he just trundles about. It's not good enough, he needs to work just as hard as a two.

So is he better suited to a 4-5-1 were he knows he has running to do?

What do you think?

To be honest I thought Yak played ok yesterday first half, he faded by the 2nd but so did everyone.

I can only assume that if we're fielding both of them, we're deliberately using Saha a bit deeper and leaving Yak more up front as a goal poacher. I dont think a striker of Yak's type necessarily needs to run his bollocks off as long as he has an eye for a goal, first 45 min at newcastle I thought he was almost certainly gonna score, just a pity the form didnt follow through into the 2nd half.

To be fair though, that is Yak's game. Since we've got 4-4-2 he aint scored (I dont think). When we were at 4-5-1 he was banging them in for fun.

He's not a hussle and chase everything down striker in the AJ mould, he uses strength (when he can instead of falling over) and positions himself well, Berbatov's the same. He has upped his work rate since joining but he has been lathargic the past few games.

I think we should go back to 4-5-1 now Pienaars back and looks good with Baines behind him, Fellaini looks more confortable in a forward central midfield role. Go back to doing what we did last year and have Saha doing what AJ coming on for Yak when he's weared the defence down or change to a 4-4-2.

I think we've plenty of striking options but figureing out which two together works well will take some time.

I'd prefer Anichebe and Yak together to be honest, they cause problems with their strength.

So would I right now, Saha has done very little to impress me so far, but to be fair I suppose he also seems a little unfit too. And the problem with Anichebe is that in the premiership he just doesnt seem the same player when you play him from the start, his effectiveness seems to be to come on when the opposition defence is tiring and scares them with his enthusiasm and strength.

What?

Ha ha i love it when Yak scores hes cool under pressure, when he doesnt hes a lazy Git! he needs to be fed we know the score.

Just to say i wasnt impressed with the partnership yesterday i think Saha and Yak should be making themselves more of a presence up against centre halfs, but in fairness its hard to make a silk purse out of a sows ear, long balls and continual poor crossing in the box and no balls coming to feet centrally is the problem. Didnt they both look dangerous when Pienaar skinned a few and sent in a few good crosseess. Anyone else notice that teams are playing very deep against us almost saying come on break us down and we have to play on the counter.
